    Question minnow bucket help!

OK I need your help! I'm looking for an insulated 5 gallon minnow bucket. Ive been searching but the only ones I can find are $60-$70 dollars. Too steep for my paycheck. Ive already looked at the sponsors here and cant find any. Does anyone know where I can find one of these where it wont break the bank? Thanks in advance!

Get a Grizzly Jig catalog. They have metal cage foam ones for $7, I think. The foam is replaceable.

Buy an Igloo drink cooler and an air pump and make your own! You can run the hose up the spout or drill a hole for it up top somewhere. Take a utility knife and make a slit in the side that will fit the holder to the air pump!

I 2nd that! A 5 gallon igloo with a 1/4" hole drilled just below the lid and a 12 volt Mr. Bubbles air pump. A long handle minnow net that'll fit in cooler with floatation fixed to the handle and your ready. Fill with water to right below air tube and then your set. NO MORE BENDING OVER TO GET A MINNOW OUT OF BUCKET. GREAT SET UP FOR AROUND $55.00. Will hold 2lbs. with ease!

Where I live in Shreveport LA wall mart and Academy Sports both carry insulated 5 gal. buckets for 10-12 bucks and have a snap on lid with it. I keep 3 of them all the time for minnow buckets.

Paw Paw Perch is right on the buckets at Wal-Mart. Then our store also has the Big bubbles five gallon lid with a snap open door and the air pump for like $12.00. But if you can scrape up the money the Frabill Aqua Life bucket is the berries. Its super quiet and really does an excellent job of keeping the minnows alive. All of these ideas will work, it just all depends on the old pocketbook!
