    I fish and live in Northern Indiana and would like to know what a Kentucky lake rig is?

    I can answer this question. It is a rig that consists of two hooks spaced 12 to 18" apart with a sinker at the bottom of the line. You can find these commercially made or make them yourself. They are good for fishing vertical structure. I've seen guys tie jigs in place of the hooks directly to the line using palomar knots. The weight puts you on the bottom and your hook placement should be based on the height of the cover you are fishing. It's very possible to catch two fish at one time. I usually fish the rig with minnows. My grandfather always fished the rig at the Big Sandy area of Kentucky lake and would load up with two slabs many times.
