Default How do you stay logged in?

Every time I leave my computer it logs me off the site and I have to log back in. If I am checking new post it will only allow me to check the post from the point I logged out... I that makes sense

I know it does it to other people... someone said it was a setting on the computer.

If you can help please do, it would be a lot less hassle for me to keep up with some threads and conversations.

    Thanks

in Microsoft Word if they are not real short and then doing a copy/paste, it works good.

The first thing to check would be if you are set to accept cookies.

If I don't check the "remember me" box, I can't stay logged on. I dunno???

Yeh, but that does not keep you from getting logged off automatically, as doing it in word format takes just as much time, plus you have to log back in to post it!?

Sorry, but I don't see the point. It sounds like extra steps to accheive the same out come.

Thanks fishinRod, maybe I missed something...

I am set to accept cookies for this site or else I wouldn't be here now... cookies are only deleted if I log out intentionally.

Which I have been logging out intentionally the last few times, because it updates me the next time I log in at my previous log out point.

That's what I do on my home computer and it works fine. If I log on somewhere else and don't check it, it will automatically log me off after being idle for a while.
