    Default Humminbird Blue Screen

I got a Humminbird 727 and a 565 depth finder. The 727 has started getting a blue screen when it is turned on (but not always). I can see the start up menu and it working faintly in the background, but the blue screen covers it. I can turn it off and back on a few times and it will work fine. Both units interchange bases, so I know its in the head unit of the 727. Anybody had this happen and what can I try before sending more cash to Humminbird?

Yes but I think you need to post this over in the Electronics forum. I see Joey in there frequently.

    Default Battery Conection

I changed batteries and tightened the connections and it seems to correct the problem for now. My 565 didn't have the problem.

    Default 565

The Humminbird 565 works great! The 727 has gps and the same features as the 565. The bases interchange also.
