There are a few beaver in our lake and we've never seen evidence that they are disturbing or eating the bamboo.

Beavers eat tree bark. Sure they cut some down to use on their dams and mounds, but you see a lot of trees that are chewed but not fallen because the beaver were simply eating. Since cane doesn't have bark, I don't think they Beaver would bother it. At least I've never seen evidence of Beaver chewing cane and we have a lot of both here in Alabama.
thanks yelp softly i was just asking cause i read that some one saw a beaver with bamboo were im at there are a lot of them

We have lots of Beaver in our state. The only time we have noticed any damage to our brushpiles were in shallow water. Then it was Willow Trees we used which are a favorite food for the Beavers.
