    Red face

    John,
Planning on heading to private pond myself on Saturday. I hope there is good ice there. I haven't been back there since we had those couple of near 60 degree days last month. I drove by the other day and notice a pile of Christmas trees sitting on top. My guess is that it's frozen over again. I am going to call the owner on my way home from work tonight.

Ice was 11 inches on private pond. I brought home a dozen Crappie. They weren't all that big though. At times the depth finder was chock full of fish. I couldn't even see my jig in all that mess. I might take Thursday off of work and head back out there in the morning. Depends on the temps and if I feel like getting up and going.
