pm duckcaller. he has a heck of a deal on a new 3 bank minnkota.
i have one from BPS also. if you get one i recomend getting the plug mout for your boat. the best thing about them is you can leave it plugged in all winter and it keeps your batt. conditioned

I know a guy that fishes on the Pro Bass Tour and he said DO NOT leave your batteries hooked up all the time. It will run them dry of water. He said no matter what brand you have the constant charge on the batteries evaporates the water in the cells. I always pull mine off once they are charged.
Just a suggestion,

I have had good luck with MinnKota chargers.
Minnkotas are build like a brick. Love mine.
He must have one of the older models. The new "smart" chargers will not do that. They maintain the battery with a trickle charge as needed.Originally Posted by CrappieHound

I also have a 2 bank Minnkota and have had great luck with it. It's even had water covering it at one point (long story) and still works great.
