Default 5 gallon bucket stump field

I picked up about 20, 5 gallon buckets from work this week, their washed and clean. I was wondering....? Do you think that just drilling holes in them, and filling them with a little gravel and sinking them would work? I know it would be better with stakes or pvc....but I was thinking that these twenty sank roughly a couple feet apart would look like a stump field....There is a lot of natural cover in this lake...I'm thinking of sinking these on a flat that is void of cover in about 15 feet of water. What does every one think..???

Richard Williams (weezer1) on KY Lake makes bucket stump fields like that. Maybe they will see this post and elaborate on it. If not, give him a PM.

    Default Stick Condos

Try making some of these... easy to make and easy to handle....
Fill bucket close to 1/2 full of concrete... insert sticks and you are in business....:D
