Yup
Joe Smith started the day early having set his alarm clock (made
in Japan) for 6am. While his coffee pot (made in China) was perking, he
shaved with his electric razor (made in Hong Kong). He put on a dress
shirt (made in Sri Lanka), designer jeans (made in Singapore) and his
shoes (made in Korea). After cooking his breakfast in his new electric
skillet (made in India! ) he sat down with his calculator (made in
Mexico) to see how much he could spend today. After setting his watch
(made in Taiwan) to the radio (made in India) he got in his car (made in
Germany) filled it with GAS (from Saudi Arabia) and continued his search
for a good paying AMERICAN JOB. At the end of yet another discouraging
and fruitless day checking his Computer (made in Malaysia), Joe decided
to relax for a while. He put on his sandals (made in BRAZIL) poured
himself a glass of wine (made in France) and turned on his TV (made in
Indonesia), and then wondered why he can't find a good paying job in..
AMERICA.....

Right on, father of 4!
Kudos! You nailed it!
I am a retiree from an American automobile company, am still a member of the union, and always will be! I am a staunch supporter of American manufacturing! I make it a point to LOOK for the “Made in the USA” label.
But it irritates me to no end to hear one of my fellow union members stand up and scream, “Buy American!”, then hop on his Kawasaki motorcycle, go home and pop a DVD into his Taiwan made player, and watch a movie on his Japanese made TV!
Deral
So True !!
Supreme Leader of the Missouri Crappie Militia.........
Your right Deral. I got furious one day (yes I posted the story about it on here) when I was at the VA Clinic in Lubbock and saw some nice caps. Bought me one that said Desert Storm Veteran. Heck I didnt even check the lable of where it was made because I bought it at a VA Clinic. I took it for granted that it was made in the USA. Went to IHOP after that and before I put my cap back on I looked at the tag. Darned if that American CAP wasnt made in Vietnam. I about fell out of my seat.

Kind of makes me wonder what was going through the minds of those people who were making those hats at the time.
But then again, they were probably so busy they didn't have time to ponder it.
Start looking at labels allmost impossible to find made at home.Myself ,I try to avoid made in China.
