I was looking at the Humminbird 787 and noticed that its available with either and external or internal antenna. I am assuming an external antenna would be the type where you mount the "puck" somewhere on the boat and an internal antenna would be what? Would this mean the antenna is within the unit? If so, does anyone own one of these? I'd think that would be a very desirable unit since it eliminates mounting the puck antenna on the boat. Am i right in my assumption of what an internal antenna is?

I have one with a internal ant. no problems here love it.
can't catch'em at home
I have a Lowrance with a internal antenna. Works great. I opted for a internal, since it is easier to switch back and forth with my automobile for GPS use.
