Those are some great looking jigs. IMO I feel that on a couple of them the body is a little bit too long. It does look like those would be some great dock shooters. Way to go.
Any comments/critiques of the jigs or the photos themselves? I'm gonna find something to use as a background next time I take them.
The legend is head color/body color/tail color.
All are 1/16th oz with #2 sickle hooks.
This is pretty much a standard jig, with painted eyes. The pupil got smudged a bit but you can see the idea.

Thanks. I do tend to make longer bodies than most, but it's only about 1-2 wraps of chenille difference. I can make them shorter if someone wants them to be, but that's just the way I started doing it.
They are great for shooting docks, as they have bigger hooks, but work just fine for casting or using them under a float. I do like smaller hooks for bream though.
I dont know much about it, but if i was a fish I would eat them, they look like candy
Smoothlures,
Those are some great looking jigs. Great fish catchin' colors.
I've thought about getting back into tying, but lack the time right now.
Seeing your jigs gives me the fever again. A trip to BPS is in order to check it out.
Thanks for sharing your talent and jigs with us.
