Shawnee Bend on LOZ

Is the ramp open at Shawnee Bend? How about the lake itself? Hubby was planning on going to Truman but I just read that it's frozen. Any luck on fishing LOZ in that vicinity?

I would bet the ramp is open. Very little ice on the lake except in very back of some coves. I ran all around that area yesterday and never saw any ice.

Hubby talked with Richard Bowling, guide/Bucksaw Marina manager, yesterday and he thought he'd be able to get his boat out of the slip yesterday. Richard said he had been told that the middle of the lake was open. His boat had been iced in for several days. That's all that I know about that.

The MO River ice has thinned down alot, but still there.
