    Default High Rock Question

I am trying to get some vacation time last week of April first week of May. Is this a good time for crappie ast High Rock? I probably will be without a boat so I will be dock fishing mostly. Please let me know, thanks.

That is normally a very good time to be at High Rock. I have always caught a bunch during that time unless an EXTREME front passes thru. Someone around here may can get you on a boat part of the time.
Give a man a fish, feed him for a day.
Teach a man to fish, he'll sit in a boat and drink beer all day.

That's great Crappie and everything else season around here!!
Three-fourths of the Earth's surface is water, and one-fourth is land. It is quite clear that the good Lord intended us to spend triple the amount of time fishing as taking care of the lawn.

There is good fishing there in the spring. Legion1, if that is not my week to go to OBX, then we can set up a day or two and you can fish with me, will it be just you fishing or will there be others?

Nat...Thanks it will be the wife and I. Where is the best place to get a map of the lake. The place we are going to rent has a pontoon boat on site for $350 a week. Also both here in Delaware and when I was in Idaho we used wedgees with 1/100 jig heads, tipped with nibblets. All I have is micro jigs and wedgees. I know what the heck is a wedgee here is the link http://www.customjigsandspins.com/ic...dy/wedgee.html. What would you recommend for both heads and tube colors. Thanks again.
