Is there anything that has been found to effect it?

How much harder are they to operate?

Can you hook them to a laptop to record, save and play back?

Can you upload and download straight from and to the unit, through a laptop?

How about live feed to the internet?

What units are the best value for these aplications or do you have to buy stock in the company?

If I do have to buy stock;

Will it bait your hook?

Will it lip or net fish?

If not will it hold your beer while you bait or land fish?

These are few Q's I need answered to see if one of these units is right for me:D

shouldn't drink and fish you may spill you beer or run into a boat.

I don't have SI... I was able to talk my fishing buddy (Paps) into buying one a couple years ago.. He likes the 997si so much that he bought another a year later for the nose of the boat.. Now he is looking at the 1197si from Hummingbird.. I'm thinking about how I will benefit from him buying the upgrade!! HAND IT DOWN ALREADY!!! I'll say it my best Cajun impersanation!!!! SI is mo' betta than good!! No other company is advanced as Hummingbird IMO... Buy the top of the line and you won't have to buy twice is my suggestion..
