    Angry Barlows!!

Does it really take over week to put some stuff in a small box and send it? You guys have this trouble with Barlows? I'm slightly peeved, I'm about lose momentum and move to the next hairbrained thing I come up with.

Nope I usually receive my orders in four days when placing an order with them over the internet. Never had a problem with them taking too much time delivering. Might want to drop them a line and see when they shipped it and get them to track it.

If you don't pay extra that happens with them sometimes. I was in a small bind about 2 months ago and was going to order a bunch of strung neck hackle, but they couldn't tell me when they would ship it and if I didn't get it in time I would need it at all as I had some coming from another place.

I hardly ever order from them now. They are not the worst though and trying to deal with wholesale vendors can be trying.

    What were you ordering?

The last order I placed with them I also wanted some sickle hooks. I had also noticed that some other places were out of them so I assumed (bad habit) that they were too. If that was the case, at least they could have let me know.

I haven't ordered from them, but sickle hooks are very hard to get. I know folks who have had them on backorder for 5 or 6 months. However they should have notified you if they don't have them to ship. I'd email them and ask.
I use jannsnetcraft.com. Very good customer service from what I've experienced. I don't think they carry the sickle hooks though.

I ordered last week via snail mail and got my order back five days later. I guess it depends on what is in stock. Most of the time I order from Jann's Netcraft but they did not hahve the variegated chennille I wanted this time.
