    Default Waveland Lake

If anyone gets Indiana Game & Fish, there was a article in the last issue that said the state put over 71000 crappie in the lake when it was killed out in 2002-2003. Wrong. The green crap fisherman told the state they didn't want crappie put back in the lake. So none were put in.

Do you ever check the facts before you post Rdant? The original fish restocking took place back in 2002 and that consisted of catfish, bluegill, redear and largemouth. In the fall of 2003 they added 71,000 crappie. And this past fall (Nov. 2007), they put in an additional 12,000 more black crappie. Those originally stocked crappie have now reached a length of 10"-12". They were getitng them through the ice just this past week.
