I see he caught that almost a year ago. Has it been officially determined to be the new state record? Haven't seen anything to the effect. Man oh man, it's a whopper! I'd like to get one half that size!

I was looking at the PA Fish & Boat Comm. site and didn't see the fish listed there. The state record is still the one that came out of Hammond, and the the largest crappie taken in 2003 or 2004 wasn't the one you are refering to. Either the guy didn't decide to enter it in the books, or the F & B Comm ain't got their site up to date.
yeah I noticed that to, I dont know what the deal is. It is definitely a nice fish though, state record or not
