but you'll PAY for them :p (well, most of them, anyway :D ) OK ... some may not be "specifically" built for Crappie but, that's no sign that they can't be adapted to that use.

Allpro is made about fifteen minutes down the road from me. Owner is Roger Gant . The guy to talk to is Billy Campbell. Billy used to run The Outdoor Shop years ago and when he sold it, he got to do what he loves and fishes almost everyday. They are a little pricey for me, but lots of the Bass fisherman around here brag and brag on them. They are becoming a very popular brand in Middle Tennessee. www.allprorods.com

Cherokee Rod Co. Made in Eufaula OK. by Leland Shanks. He was making them for Crappie Pro. Lot of backbone to haul biguns outa the trees & brush but, VERY light. Not cheap but, EXCELLENT RODS!!! <*)}}}><

St. Croix and Orvis are making their cheaper rods overseas, now. That may just be their fly rods, though.

Dorber makes their own, and they're in Arkansas. Not sure if they make crappie rods, though.

All the top fly rod manufacturers make their own blanks here, but they are not cheap!

according to some of the brands I listed, their blanks are American made, too.

Thanks guys!! I was afraid that all the rods were outsourced. I'm really glad they aren't, and I will strive to only purchase American made rods. Thanks again, and goog fishing to you all.:D
