    Default line size and brand

Not to start to much controversy, but what brand and size line do you all prefer? Thanks, Wally "FishnFed"

This is a much-discussed topic. A quick search of the archives will turn up lots of threads. You can read for days.

6# Vanish Transitions has been my line of choice for a few years, however the last we bought broke every time you tied a knot, so we tryin the P Line So far, so good . . it's some tough stuff!

I posted a line question a week ago - there are tons of responses...

Like one person said, most probable come from the same place and just get different labels :D

The one thing I would recommend, get something that is yellow/hi-vis...

I had never used anything like that - got two brands of it - one a co-polymer, the other, Mr. Crappie - I got 6# for mine...mine, it is really nice to be able to see the line so well - it is the way to go!!!

Mrs. Crappie we use 6 lbs vanish too. If you dont twist it several times it will break. It took me a few ties to figure it out.
