Only 3 rods per angler can be in the water if trolling at a time.

Look at this: ( sorry I didn't mean all lakes)

    http://www.outdooralabama.com/fishin...rs/neelyhenry/

White crappies boast some of the fastest growth in the state with fish reaching 11- to 12-inches in two years. Spring electrofishing yielded great numbers of large crappie in excellent condition. Early spring and fall are the best times to fish. Remember, there is a 9-inch minimum length on crappie in Neely Henry and most lakes statewide (Weiss Lake has 10-inch minimum). Note: Anglers may use a maximum "of three rods and reels, or poles, or any combination thereof on Weiss Reservoir or Neely Henry Lake, at any time."

I had wondered that myself so I flagged down the marine police. I can have as many as I want.. some time I wish we had a limit . Like when I hit a brushpile I didn't know was there. I have hung all 10 at once. What a nightmare.

The only places that have rod limits in AL that I am aware of is Weiss and Neely Henry. That is all that is on the site for AL.
