Default Still Looking - Rod tote ideas

Still looking for any ideas or creative ways to lug my rods to and from the dock...

Had a couple thoughts on my original post, but not that would work for me...

One idea I had - what do you think...

Take some PVC - big enough to fit the largest eye on my poles - cut it into
18" lengths (?)... - hot glue them together - and use an extra piece with a handle attached on the top - maybe stacked together, or put together in a circular pattern...

Don't know if this makes sense or not...but I'm open to suggestions, ideas, or pics of anything you have done if you have created something

Go to the Hardware store and pick up some the double sided velcro they sell for keeping electrical cords and cables organized together. Bundle your rods together (would probably only do four at a time) at the handles and tips. Viola cheap and easy less than $5.

yeah, the cabelas' tote-em is good - 25$ for a 5 rod carrier - they also have one for 40-50 for 8...

I like the idea of the velcro ties - I teach business/computers - I have easy access to those for free - may have to check that out - see if it works!

I have made my own for about $5.00 each out of PVC. Glue on the bottom end cap, attach the top end cap with a small chain and small bolts, cut a small slit about 1.5' wide for your attached reel to slip into, attach a decorative strap. Here are some pictures.

Ok Ship. That PVC gives me as idea for my Rhino. I have had some near misses with poles sticking out the back of the bed of the Rhino.

Anyway, I only carry one pole at a time to the lake to fish off the dock. I take two people with me though. The fishes I catch are so big it takes 2 folks to land them.:D
