    Default Tied ponyheads

After reading and looking at these wonderful pictures of jigs, I decided to start making hand tied ponyheads not the prettiest but work great. With the tin I use I decided not to paint the heads because it would give them more flash(why does it have a spinner? ha).

Not bad at all, good job. I too have a load coming painted FL. Red and FL. Chart, the 2 colors I use most. Can't wait to get them.

I have always bought the RR heads but they will not let me tie and sell them so got them and the customer has to buy them send them to me and then I could tie and sell them.

What weight? You have the option of not putting the spinned on?

Those look mighty fine. A crappie will be blessed to have that in his mouth because then they will be going to Lake Crisco. Nice job.

Those are also excellent redear baits for here in Arkansas, they seem to prefer the pink ones like the crappie do for us.

Tims are enviro friendly as well. I have almost got all those jigs tied up from last year. I like them a lot.

The wieght of these are 1/16. I cast these on the 1/8 size for lead. The larger head will slow the presentation of thes jigs down just a tad, which would work great on casting to the bank for spawning crappie(you can reel in a little slower). The jig will spend a tad longer in the strike zone. But as for down falls I don't see any about the wieght. I am going to make more in 1/32 and 1/8 in the next week. It took me a minute Lake Crisco Ha.

Thank you guys for the input.
