    Default Munday Mogul Rod

I graduated from Munday (TX) High School way back in 1969. This year they won the state championship in Class A football. I was having a new jigging rod made and I had it tied with Munday's colors of purple and gold. Sorry, the pics do not do justice to the intricate thread tying. It's a 9'6" RainShadow blank, Fuji gold plated hard alloy guides, cork handle. Plan to break it in tommorrow. Hope I do as well as the Munday Moguls did this year!!!!

Good Looking setup. Only way to break in a Munday Mogul Rod is at Miller Creek isnt it Munday used to be our rivals here in Paducah until we went 6 man. Got a friend who married a girl by the last name of Campos from Munday. But she graduated around 1987 hehe.

Got to try it out Monday. (Munday rod on Monday....ouch) Went to Hubbard Creek in Breckenridge and caught a 25 fish limit. I love the action of the rod. Fish were biting very light in the morning and the bite became agressive in the afternoon. Fish weren't big, most 10 1/2 to 11" but it was fun.
