Anyone fishing for crappie in Northeast Arkansas? Where, and how are things going?

slow here in the south.

bayou bartholomew just overflowed so i'll be waiting on the fall. that's the southern report. no crappie, gut caught two nice gar and a 4 lb. bass.

Unfortunately, I have not had the opportunity to get on the water here lately. It's an extremely busy time at the newspaper (Jonesboro Sun) and still trying to finish preparation to sell our old house.

Nonetheless, it won't be long before Fall is upon us and Norfork ought to be hot with all the high water in the Spring. I have definite plans to be as ready as possible, even to the point of trying to guide some.
