    Default Crappie Action at Sardis

Heard a report today that trolling is still producing at Sardis if you can catch the weather right. Three people caught 70 yesterday on the upper lake. The wind looks like it will prohibit much fishing until probably Tuesday but I'm planning on trying it then.

Went today and caught 32. We only fished until 9:30a.m. Fish deep if you want to catch the bigger fish.

The hot tip is indeed "fish deep". A fellow I know has been trolling minnows/jigs about 30' deep from the dam up to Pat's Bluff area, and has been catching close to limits of good fish before it gets real hot. When fishing that deep, It's really drifting with the prevailing wind!
Trolling Bandits in the same area will catch some fish, but not the quality, or quantity. I hate to fool with minnows, been wondering how deep a Dive Bomber and jig will go on a long line?????
