    Default LOZ Big Niangua Report

Well, we found a few today.

Water temp. was 34-35 degrees. We were in 18-20' of water. We used red or red and white jigs with Black/Chart. tubes and White Crappie Nibbles. They were on brush in a dock (can't quite remember for sure where that dock is ?!?)

Two of us came home with 14 keepers. No big ones, all 9-11". It felt good be be out on the water and we were lucky enough to find these on a South bank, so wind wasn't hitting us too bad. We did try a few other spots but that wind was a bear.

Hope everyone has a good fishing weekend.

Beags would have kept 7 out of those.
He would have thrown the less than 10" fish back and then remembering later the length limit is 9"

No, we won't let you live that down Beags. Just cuz we love ya.
    Better safe than sorry.

    Beagle Man,

You are so right - fried up those crappie in a little olive oil, after they were dipped in a little mix of corn meal and italian bread crumbs. Just doesn't get any better than that!!
