Update on BPS Terrova issue...

I just got off the phone with customer service at Bass Pro Shops. One of the supervisors there told me that they are not going to honor the incorrect sales price they put on their website...HOWEVER...they are going to sell the itmes ordered at cost. On the Terrova I ordered, that was about a $275 savings. I feel like that is a fair compromise. The lady said that they were supposed to call everyone who ordered at the sale price, but they obviously hadn't called me.

Soooo, if any of ya'll ordered on 12/26/07, you need to call customer service. My faith is restored in BPS though that they are going to do something about it instead of just saying.."Sorry, tough luck". Just thought I'd let you know.

I thought something must be wrong when that sales price was posted. I know that motor is not cheap at all. I got a good deal by accident. I ordered one with auto pilot and universal sonar which I was going to add the wireless my self. The problem came when the dealer and the people he was getting them from thought they all came like that and it was just a mistake, but I got what I ordered after sending 2 back.

Good Motor and I love the wireless thing!

Wish they had told me that before.
You know they canceled my order, And I bet they do not call me to allow me to get it at cost. OR that they call cost.
That would have been a good deal at the start.

If you ordered at that price, regardless of whether or not you cancelled, you will be able to buy it at cost.
