    Default spring bobbers

A few years back I read for the first time about an open water fisherman using a homemade spring bobber on bluegills. Ive been wanting to try em out. Espically after recalling a few outings with lots of subtle lift bites. I bought a few to try this year for verticle jigging. Anybody else hear of them being used non ice related or use em yourself? I guess I like gadgets a little to much:D . I would think will all the crappie tournaments back east someone would have tried them.

    Default PIC & Instructions

Anybody have any pictures of a spring bobber actually attached and maybe exactly how they are attached and work? When setting the hook, wouldn't it bend the spring?

    Thumbs up Heres one

    Here you go.

We use them a lot up here while perch fishing. Especially when there biting really lite. They will absolutely work for any species,, including crappie.

There made of spring steel usually and return to the original position. I've even landed steel head using one. Never hurt it one bit.

I hope this helps you out.
