We were about 50 yards from where I caught one the same size on the same tackle about this time last year. She had been fighting the fish for nearly an hour when we passed by Darryl's boat and he took that picture. With only 6-pound line all we could do was follow it around until she wore it down. I was wondering who would give out first but she held on and kept the pressure on. It took over an hour to land it. I don't like wasting that much time on a striper but she really wanted it and the crappie weren't biting anyway.
Nice...I received a 11 ft Buck's Best Ultralite as a Christmas gift and it feels and looks real good,I can't wait to get out there and try it out.
MMM fun
Good things come to those who bait.

The Shinee Hinee is very similar to the Slaters Jigs that we used on Greeson over the weekend.

I usually use Slater's jigs but the Shinee Hinees have been working for me when they crappie are over 20-feet deep. I get them at Walmart. They only have one size (1/16th but seem a bit heavier than Slater's 1/16th) and 4-color combinations last I checked.
Thanks for the reply & have a great new year...................
