I have a couple of questions for ya guys. I'm new to the world of crappie ffishing, with that being said, When you are fishing in 10-20 feet of water with minnows, do you use a jighead to get the minnow down to the depth you want, or a hook with some splitshots?

I use both methods. Some days they want just the minnow while other days they prefer the jig tipped with a minnow. Try both and let the fish tell you what they want that day.
