    Default Driftmaster T250-H mounting question

I have never used t-bar rod holders before. I am thinking about buying a Driftmaster T-250-H because it is 18” tall and the front of my boat is 12” tall.

I have a bowrider boat with a trolling motor on the front. I have been longline trolling but I want to try spider rigging.

I plan on cutting a piece of Ύ” plywood to fit flush on the front of my boat. Then mounting the T-250-H to it. I don’t want to screw in the the carpeting or decking on the boat because I have custom cushions that fit to the front.

My question is this: can the top of the T-250-H be turned so I can use it to long line troll and then turned back to spider rig without remounting it? It looks like it has a wing nut on the top but it also looks like the top bar fits into a groove.

    Default T-250

THE T-250 WILL EASILY ROTATE 360 DEGREES AND CAN BE USED TO FISH IN ANY DIRECTION. YOU CAN MOUNT THE BASES FOR THE T-250 PERMANENTLY ON THE BOAT AND EASILY REMOVE THE T-BAR LEAVING ONLY A FLUSH MOUNT BASE THE SHOULD NOT INTERFERE WITH YOUR CUSHIONS.

CHECK OUT PHOTO OF T-250 BASE AFTER REMOVAL OF BAR ON MY TRITON 196 TA.
