    Default T-250-HC Mounts?

How does the mounts work on the T-250-HC rod holders?
Anyone know where I can see how they fit into the base and what keeps them from moving around?

the base is a thin piece of 3x3 stainless with a 3/8 nut welded in the center
they have a 3/8 all thread rod through the center with a nut on top to hold them. i had to make another 3x3x plate for mine out of 3/16 in tk plate to make mine sturdy after i did tat they work great

Pete, Speck is right on the money. I haven't mounted mine on my boat yet(real winter here), but have every intent having new, bigger bases made before I go drilling holes in the boat.

Thanks guys now I see how they work. From the pictures it just did not look like they were fixed where they would say put.
Guessing you have to unscrew them each time to remove. So not a quick release.
Wish someone(Jwhite) would design a good set that was quick release and also stable.

Thanks Sinkum. I know I do not like a rod holder to move at all. Rock Solid is best.
