    Default am/ morning bite

the areas weve been fishing seem to be hot from about 30 prior to first light till about an hour or so after. any ideas on where these fish go or do they just fill up with minners and stop eating? doesn't seem to matter if its overcast or sunny. any ideas

I keep the bite going a little longer by changing colors on them when they slow down. Sometimes they seem to move deeper too.

When I fish during daylight hours, I have the best luck fishing under docks. Even when the water temp is in the low 30's, I catch more fish in 3' to 6' of water around docks near dropoffs than anywhere else.

Other than that, tightlining deep with minnows always works well.
