I gotta alot of good spots off of bearden/virgin bluffs that ive found on my hi-def that are transition areas that`ll draw winter fish and are also non precarious. I also found some mid-lake flats way out there thatll hold slabs with jus a structure drop...

Have you made any long runs to the shallow water up the James in the Winter? I've never tried the shallows during the winter. Only in the summer a few times.
