Here is the deal, I have seen questions on boards of how to store your jigs and I bought a box called The Bugger Beast for my flies. It is not a box for ones pocket, it's more of a boat box and I just want to ask you guys if it would be a good idea for me to have these to sell. These box's have grooves in them to hod the hook and you back the hook in and back it out to make the foam last a long time.

Here is a link to a review of the box's I am thinking of.

So would people buy them from me or not? What is your opinions please?

I agree....looks like a real nice storage box,but alittle pricey for me.I'm sure there are people who would be interested in something like that though.

Keep in mind I would not be selling them for that listed price. I would just do it to help my customers if they want them. Still not cheap, but I have one for my self and really like it a lot.

Skip assortments of any types of tackle do real well for the seller. The box is a nice on but I bet you can find a lower price box that would work just as well and help sell more jigs.

The little ones I made for the boat dealer is more like something I could fill with someones order. The big Yellow one would hold something like 300 crappie jigs or more so that one I don't think anyone would want to buy full of jigs, LOL!

    Thanks,

Skip the smaller ones will work for sure. The big one dont count it out,it would be a great counter display at a tackle shop or tackle show if you do any of them.

    Slip,

I am also sure that you can find some nice "Snap boxes" at home depot or even the ones your small power tools came in. Line with foam and you are set to have it on your boat. Think I'll build myself one tonight.

While that is a good way to make a cheap box, it's not the same thing. The big Yellow Box's have foam with grooves cut in it ans you back the hook in and out without ever sticking the hook into the foam. SO it will not tear up the foam when you take the flies/jigs out. Also the top & bottom are used in these so the big yellow one will hold a ton of jigs or flies. I am using mine for flies.

Noting wrong with his way to make a box, but I still like the other one better. I have one of the big ones and would not trade it for any number of his self made box's. However that is just me.
