No comparison between Pope and Pruitt and Capps/Coleman! Maybe Woods and Mcintosh!
The "Steve Coleman" thread brought out some interesting info. How about Pope and Pruitt, has anyone ever fished with them or seen them in action? They must me very good also.

I hope this thread does not go sour. I posted it because I just started dock shooting and thought I might pick up some info.
You mentioned dock shooting and then the names rang a bell with me. If it's the same guys I think it is they're from one of the Carolina's, I think. I've never fished with them before but I've seen them in action 4-5 years ago on Lake Norfork, AR during the NACA classic for which they won the jig only division. Since I haven't tournament fished in years I don't know what they have done since. They seemed to be nice fellows and very dedicated to the dock shooting style of crappie fishing. If it's not the same guys I'm sure they're good guys. Being successful when selecting only one presentation style like shooting docks and sticking with it in all seasons and different water conditions has to require great skills.

Just to set the record straight, I didn`t say Pope/Pruitt were not good fisherman! I Can`t see the comparison to Capps/Coleman! They are fine dockshooters!
I fish one of the same tourney trails as these guys, Southern Crappie Assoiciation, and they have won the classic 4 years in a row. They are dock shooters using Lindy jigs. Great guys ive talked to them a few times but not nearly as much as i want to. I know they love little river on Clarks Hill.
