Steve is a great guy, he is a country boy just like me. I have fished many tournaments with he and Ronnie, but never in the same boat with him. Steve is as dedicated as you will find in this sport. He looks at every angle to catch big fish. I would highly recomend a trip with him if possible! I believe they are 6 time champions.

I have fished with both of them. One is just as good of fisherman as the other. They are both friends of mine. Why?

Because you each have a mutual respect for one another?

Not with, but got to watch them fish a hole next to us at a Pickwick
tournament - I just about quit fishing to watch them It was pretty
amazing to see how they went about it, even from a distance. Kind of
changed my ideas of what you had to do - or not do.

I'm with you J White. We fished beside them at the Grenada tournament in Oct, and they were all business. They have it worked down to an art. I'd love to share a boat with either of them.

BTW they kicked our tails....by 2 pounds.....

Can you divulge any other info about why their techniques or whatever are so special?

Their techniques aren`t what is special it is their persistince and drive! They keep changing and moving until they hit paydirt. They are awesome to watch and very energetic. They will move from a brush pile to the other and never lift a rod or the trolling motor up! While running the outboard.

I thought about calling him to see if he still guided, I fished the crappie usa for 3 years, made 1 classic, and seen them cash several times, fished region 1 qualified all 3 years on weiss lake for regional, and the classic on neely-henry. went to stormy sante-cooper and could'nt catch 10 fish.Would love to talk to someone that dedicated, My partner and I got havent fish the trail in several years, but I do love it. One day with him might get the competitive juices flowing again, and I know I would learn
