How were you fishing it?
Crappie Cat and I visited a local creek Sat. Not a lot of fish in there yet but the ones we caught were nice. This one was over 2#. Caught against the bank in 2' deep water. Should get much better as it gets colder.
Good fishing.

Thought my cell phone picture had more character. Slip cork and bobber.
I "doodle sock" with a float and a jig when the fish get in the shallows, especially when they bury deep in the buck brush. Nothing finer.
Nice fish here.

It's tough to have to live in Texas where, on a Sat. morning in Dec., you can fish in a tee shirt and catch slabs in 2' deep water.
Now today, well that's another matter. Only 35 degrees, I think I'll put on a sweater and go fishing.
Good fishing.
Nice catch.
very nice looking white crappie, she is a beauty.

I love fishing small creeks too.

Holy cow thats nice... Does your lakes you fish have a dual spawn ? is that why they`re in the creeks? I usta fish Lake Dardenelle in Arkansas in the fall bcuz of the southern dual spawn thing...
