Gheenoe

Anybody use a gheenoe for crappie? Curious how anyone feels about these boats.

I had a gheenoe highsider. On the plus side it's not very expensive and it will run around 20mph with a 10 horse. Cheap and easy to tow. Just a $100 troll motor pulls it well. It will run very shallow which is what it was designed for on the Florida flats.

Minus is nobody will want to fish with you because its narrow and takes some getting used to. You can't go out on big water it just does not like big lake waves.

I sold mine after about a year. I would choose a 14 or 15' john boat or bigger if you can.

I'm editing because I see you are in Fl. If you fish flats I'd say it's a good compromise boat.
