    Default supended crappie

I fish Douglas Lake in Tenn, where I live. all the crappie are supended very few on points, where we prefer to fish. Its seems we spend hours just trying to find them relating to the bottom on points..The water temp. is dropping of course, will this keep them supended , it was 48 yesterday.

Yep, the colder the water gets the deeper they'll go on ledges (steep banks) and down in the deeper channels. In January and February we catch crappie as deep as 30-35' in 35-45' of water.
