Repairing NICAD batteries for cordless power tools? I have a drill with a bad battery and saw on EBAY where you can get instructions on how to repair the battery. I was curious if anyone here had tried to do this?

You don't actually repair the battery. You cut the battery pack apart and replace the batteries in it. We have a shop in Chesapeake that does that for you.

what you do is charge the battery 24 volts which brings it down ready for full charge. You take two wires hook pos battery to neg. cordless and vise versa for 10 seconds its suppose to work.
