    Default Boat problems

I have a problem guys my boat engine is giving me some trouble when I bring it to full throttle it bogs down on me but when I pull the choke out it runs great but I have to leave it out in order for it to run right. I think it might be the carb. but not sure I have already replaced the fuel pump when I first bought the boat so I dont think it is that. Any Ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

P.S. The engine is a 35hp johnson 1981 model yeah its old I know haha. But its all I can afford right now.

That is a classic symptom of a bad fuel pump. But like pescatore said the filter can cause it. Also check all the fuel lines and especially the primer bulb for cracks. All should be soft and pliable.

I would say it's your carb. High speed jets are gummed up!
