Looking great, green and orange is a killer combo, along with yellow and orange tooo. :D
OK I got a few new colors of chenille and feathers and would like to have your thoughts on what color combo's to put these with. I will show more later.
This is Kelly Green & Olive Chenille (hard to see it in the pic right) and this feather is Grizzle Variant Pumpkin. Just to show what you can't see, there are sparkles on the orange head that you really can't see in this pic.

All them hand tied jigs sure are purdy. But, they they all look like wet cats when they come out of the water. What is the secret of keeping them purdy?

Well they only work when they are in the water so thats where I would keep them. hahaha when they are in the water all the feathers and what not spread out so it looks like it is alive and moving. just the slightest twitch of the rod or rise of the line will make these jigs come to life.Originally Posted by Cane Pole
Have to agree with Smitty that what they look like when they come out of the water is of no important and how they look in the water is the key.Originally Posted by Cane Pole
If you take a jig with marabou feathers and pull it out of the water is looks like a pointed straight tail, but in the water is come alive and will undulate in the water just from the water movement. Even if you are holding it as still as you can.

I love a hair jig but I feel that the marabou jig has more "action".
Its hard to sell marabou jigs. They are so cheap at stores.Originally Posted by Ragfly Jig Man
