Default Fall fishing on Weiss Lake still going strong...with pics!

With the mild temperatures we have been having it has really extended our Fall season here on Weiss Lake. There have been limit stringers being brought in daily. All of these fish are being caught spider rigging the channel ledges with minnows and jigs. With more warm weather in the forecast (60's and 70's) for the next 7-10 days fishing should continue to be great. Here is a couple of pictures for you from the past week! Also I want to wish you all a Merry Chrismas and a Happy New Year!!! Happy Holidays...See Ya' on the Water!

November 29, 2007 Fishing with Remar Cash from Tallapoosa, Georgia...60 fish limit!!

December 04, 2007 fishing with Tony Arnold, Jerry Argo and Bobby Bennett from Franklin, Tennessee...89 keepers!!

Nice catch. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Some of the crappie in both pictures seem to have a bit of a yellow tint.Is this just nature or is there a reason for this? We've caught several 2 person limits in the last 2 months and they are the same way.Merry Christmas.

Crappiejunky if you look at both of the pictures close there are a few fish that have a different color to them. If you notice, the ones that have a different color to them are white crappie and the rest are black crappie. The whites just have a little different color and pattern to them and it really shows up in the pictures. The best part of about it is when you are eating... them you cant tell the difference! See Ya' on the Water!

It's nice seeing somebody catching cooler fulls. Congrats.
