Yellow Creek Falls Boat Launch?

Has anyone launched from Yellow Creek Falls lately. I was thunkin of driving down from Huntsville in the am, but have heard horror stories of the low water conditions at the launches. I love fishing Yellow Creek. There is not a more beautiful spot on Weiss Lake. Of secondary importance, how are the Crappie biting?

I launched from yellow creek about 3 weeks ago and it was fine. I think they dug a hole and put gravel down, I could be wrong. I came out from the ramp in the middle of the creek and the water was about 4 foot deep. As yellow creek gets wider (about 1/2 mile) there is a sand bar on the right so stay to the left center and you should be fine. I was fishing just outside yellow creek to the right about 1 mile on the main lake. We caught about 50 crappie a day. The fish may have moved into little river by now.
