Default 2008 War Eagle 861 PREDATOR

Got to see one of these today. And sure is a great looking boat. But man they have the drivers seat in the stinking floor. What is up with that? Sure would be nice to have them off the floor to make it easy to get up.
With my back I have trouble getting out of the seats in one. The dealer told me they could get them up off the floor. but I see a problem there then. The steering wheel may be in the way. so there would have to be a tilt steering put in.
Anyone have one that has fished out of them for a while?
    A few questions..
    (1) how is the ride in rough water?
    (2) how well does the boat do in wind as far as the wind blowing it around?
    (3) this one had a 90 2-stroke on it. Would rather have the 4-stroke anyone running a 90 4-stroke on it?
Or has most went with a 115?
    (4) how well does the live wells work on keeping fish alive?
    (5) anything you ordered on it that you wish you had not gotten?
    (6) Anything you wish you had order on it?
    (7) Anyone order one with out carpet?
    (8) Anyone get a tandem axle trailer with theres?
The reason I ask about the tandem axle trailer is this.

With this on the truck. Had a few tell me the boat is better with a tandem axle trailer.
Any info anyone that owns a 861 can give me would sure help out in the search for the great crappie boat.
Also do you think If I take Spider Rig man with me in this boat, We could catch fish? LOL

    Default War Eagle

I know A Nut that lives out of Adamsville, Tn. He don't know nut'em about fishing, but he does good wood work. He's a old red headed fart, just go's around town p'n people off.
I have met spider rig man and know of his reputation of catching huge trophy
size crappie. And I would say he is about the only one that can teach someone of your ability anything, the man is just amazing, a wonderful human being.
Maybe if you ask him, or pay him he would autogragh the new boat, and that my friend would bring luck fame and fortune. The man is an true American Hero and crappie legend, it's an true honor to have met the man in person.
He took the time while signing autograghs at Bass Pro Shop to talk to me and allowed me to have my picture taken with him, I will always cherish that moment with him an American Icon.
