    Smile LOZ Big Niangua Report

Often times reader, very seldom writer?!?

Had the good luck to fish Friday, Saturday and yesterday! :D Not big numbers but several keepers on Black/Chart. Jigs with white crappie nibbles. Water temp. ran from 46-52 degrees. Fished mostly wood near shore in 4-8' of water but near 15-20'. Always bumping over the limbs and letting it drop. I haven't figured out how to post pictures yet, maybe a winter time project. But I did catch more than normal blacks. Mostly white crappie on this end of the lake as a rule. Well, looks like 50 degrees by afternoon, so will try them again.

Sure enjoy reading about you guy's fishing adventures.

    Default They moved on me

Only got out for a couple of hours today. Caught 11 total, but only 3 keepers. One 11 3/4", one 10" and one 9 1/2". Did find a new tree ( to me anyway) and caught 5 shorts off of it, so it will be a good one when the water gets colder. Water temp was 46-50 degrees. Caught them on black/chart. jig with white nibble again. Anywhere from 4' to 10' deep.

Well traveling this weekend, so good luck to all you guys this weekend - fill the boat.

Bugman, maybe we can trade trips on different ends of the lake.

    Thanks,

    Mark
