    Default Zebco Slab Seeker

    Anyone ever use this combo...???

I know many of you use the WM rods and things of that nature, but as of right now I just tight line off the docks (no boat yet)!

I have found new Zebco Slab Seekers (have the button to push when you get a bite to keep the depth) - it's the rod and reel combo -

    On sale for 14.99 - regularly 29.99...

    What do you think?

Just buy the reels and put them on your WM rods. Or buy the combos and sell the rods that came with them.
I use my slabseekers up at lake erie, perch fishing in 50 to 60ft of water. Put the reels on a 10' crappie wizard rod and a 10' outlaw. These rods have the painted tips. Work great for me.

    Default Sorry

I overlooked that you'll be DOCK fishing. Shouldn't need a slabseeker for water that shallow.

I have 2 slab seekers...very flimsy ends and hard to pitch jigs with...the ends of my rods are frayed and very flimsy...i have had one break in less than a years use...i like the ultralight reeels though...i would just reccomend a different rod to go with the reels..just my 2 cents

I had 2 12 footers. I kept the reels & gave the rods away.

I've got one of those and was having trouble with bobber stops getting snagged in the last eyelet. solution, I cut off the end right in front of the next eyelet ,no more snags. The tip of those poles are awful flimsy.
