If you count preparation and surfing fish stuff, the I estimate my time to be 90 percent fishing. The other 10 percent is spent going to hospitals and funerals.Originally Posted by KCBALLER

Long enough to have them for bait, unless I go to pond and pull basket for some great eating!
Yea you need to be a little more specific with the question. If you're talking about actual time in the boat, then that's one thing. If you're talking about the WHOLE fishing experience, ie: tying on, re-lining, packing, charging, shopping for baits, scanning the net for reports on fishing, wind, overall weather and all the other things that go along with it, then that's another thing. If the question is actually the latter of the two, then all my hours are spent crappie fishing each year.:D I even dream about fishing when I go to sleep. Anybody else ever shut their eyes and all they can see is that cork bouncing or running off sideways or going under. Man, I really need to see somebody about this addiction.
Not enough time for me, but if you include crappie.com......A LOT!
Say 10 - 12 hrs a week sometimes as much as 20 so any where from 624 to 800 hrs a yr.
Love, what more can I say
Not nearly enough!!!!!:D

That's a tough one , probably over 1000 hrs. In the peak season here ( March till July) I fish sometimes way over 50 hrs a week!:D

In the boat fishing for crappie I would say that I spend around 800 to 1100 hours per year. Still not enough.
