I'd like to try the optima's, but they are a little pricey. They may be worth it in the long run though.

Wal Mart everstart marine. Best bang for the buck. I did the research not too long ago. Same company makes the optima makes wal mart. Johnson Controls. Sometimes Exide makes them. It is contractual. I got delcos. They made by exide. Wasn't enough room in my boat battery compartment to hold the everstarts. They big.

Spend the money if you fish 100 times a year like we do. Blue top optima best battery around. If you don't fish much, don't spend the money.

I got the 18 month free replacement Walmart Enterstate big yellow marine batteries. The work good running lights for nightstalking crappie. Even had one go bad inside the 18 months and got it replaced for free. Other one I have is over 3 years old and going strong.

    I also use the wal-mart Everstart's. There good battery's.
Sure at a better price than the three a dealer priced me on a new boat. 3 Interstate 27 series 1 Hd cranking and 2 deep cycle for only $279.95.
Man 3 of the wal-marts were when I bought the last three Less then $200.

Optimas made me a believer. They are a bit pricey but i havent been able to run them down yet! Lighter than any other batteries i have tried, safer construction. I am confident every time i go out that they will last. Worth the money if you fish on a regular basis.
